Aim

Develops Australia's niche space capabilities by supporting space related research, innovation and skills in areas of national significance.  This scheme provides $40 million over four years through streams of competitive merit based grants to eligible consortia.

  • Stream A (Space Education Development grants) supports student projects and educational activities.
  • Stream B (Space Science and Innovation Projects grants) supports collaborative space research and innovation and innovation projects.
Funding

Stream A - Grants of between $200,000 and $1M are available for projects of up to three years in duration to consortia comprising at least one university and one other partner.

Stream B - Grants of between $1M and $5M are available for projects up to three years in duration to consortia comprising at least one university or research institution, and one industry partner.

Eligibility
Only consortium applications will be accepted. Eligibility criteria can be found in the ASRP guidelines.

Required by Grants Office

Stream A applications will be signed only and not reviewed by MRO.  Stream A applicants do not need to submit a first draft.

Stream B applications must submit a first draft and should be emailed to Sue Bell for review by 18 November 2009.  This can be either on the official application forms or in a word document.
