Institutional networks and bilateral agreements

The University of Melbourne is a member of two international educational networks;
The University of Melbourne has also established formal university level agreements with a number of overseas universities.  Most arrangements encompass programs for visits by staff, cultural exchange, joint research and the exchange of students.  Some relationships, however, provide for the exchange of students only. Find out more on bilateral agreements.

Successful international collaborations

The University engages with many areas of research across the world. Although some research is a result of our academic cooperation and exchange agreements, there is also much individual international collaboration. Some of these collaborations can be seen through browsing the web pages of specific academic staff or through our Find an Expert database. The Research Office is developing a database that provides detailed information on the University's participation in international collaborations. Once this is finalised it will be accessed through this site (Uni of Melb access only). If you would like information on successful international collaborations in a specific discipline or with a particular collaborator, please contact Alice Boland.

International Office Network

The University of Melbourne has established offices in a range of countries to expand its international presence, support its profiling and marketing activities, and foster its international and alumni relations.
