Confidentiality agreements (standard and non-standard)
Confidential information is normally defined as unpatented inventions, ideas, know-how, concepts, trade secrets, techniques, software and other commercially valuable information or intellectual property, etc.
Can I use the agreements?
The University has two standard templates for confidentiality agreements, and in some specific cases authorises the Dean or Head of Department to sign drafts of external confidentiality agreements. Click on the link that describes your circumstances:- University Standard Mutual
When there is an exchange of information between two or more parties, and the parties wish to ensure that any confidential information disclosed remains confidential. - University Standard One-Way
When the University is disclosing confidential information that it wants to ensure remains confidential. - Non-Standard
When the agreement is supplied by an External Party and deals with confidentiality issues only.
